The Aethon Light Weight Turnout Blanket has a gusset that is high and forward on the shoulder allowing greater freedom of movement without rubbing. The notched leg design allows even more leg movement without restriction, and this creates a partial belly band that provides more protection and warmth. Another added feature of the Aethon Light Weight Turnout Blanket is the reflective piping around the edges for visibility at night. This blanket is completely waterproof, making it a great multi-season blanket to use alone or layering. Add a cozy Eous Stable Rug under it for a little extra warmth.

Great turnout; excellent customer serviceThis lighter-weight turnout is perfect for cold, rainy days common to this area in spring and fall. It's a top quality product - nice tight stiching, tough fabric, rugged clips. The matching hood stays put. I especially like the reflective banding on *all* the seams and not just a stripe or two. Easily kept clean with a brush and spot cleaning as needed. (Coincidentally, the bright red color matches Lands End's dog squall jacket perfectly.) Excellent ProductI bought two of these blankets for my new TBs. These are amazing blankets! With three TBs living together and one being a chewer, tehse look brand new still. The horses wear them 24/7 when it is cool out (we layer the mid-weight MAdrid over these) and no one has torn even a thread.
