The inside of this Edgewood 2-End Elastic Fancy Stitched Leather Overlay Girth w/ Removable Sheepskin is made with thick 7/16" felt laid over nylon webbing, sewn in to prevent stretching and to add additional strength. A nylon-reinforcing strap is sewn into each buckle chape to prevent buckles from tearing off. The inside felt and reinforcing webbing on this Edgewood 2-End Elastic Fancy Stitched Leather Girth is then covered beautifully with an overlay of the highest quality top grain leather and sewn into place by hand- and machine-stitching using heavy-gauge thread. Strict attention to detail adds the strength and durability you need. The Edgewood 2-End Elastic Fancy Overlay Leather & Sheepskin Girth has contoured edges for the comfort of your horse. We add a soft, plush sheepskin that can be removed for washing. This is the "Top of the Line" in leather girths. Once oiled and used, this Edgewood Leather Girth will become comfortably soft and turn into the dark beautiful leather & sheepskin girth you are looking for.
