The inside of this Edgewood 2-End Elastic Leather Overlay Girth is made with thick 7/16" felt laid over nylon webbing, sewn in to prevent stretching and to add additional strength. A nylon-reinforcing strap is sewn into each buckle chape to prevent buckles from tearing off. The inside felt and reinforcing webbing on this Edgewood 2-End Elastic Girth is then covered beautifully with an overlay of the highest quality top grain leather and sewn into place by hand- and machine-stitching using heavy-gauge thread. Strict attention to detail adds the strength and durability you need. The Edgewood 2-End Elastic Overlay Girth has contoured edges for a perfect fit. Once oiled and used, this Edgewood Girth will become comfortably soft and turn into the dark beautiful leather girth you are looking for.
