The objective of this mask is twofold. Not only does it provide the cooling properties of Cool Medics to keep your horse comfortable, but it also protects against biting flies. This Cool Medics Cooling Fly Mask extends our Poll Cooling Cap to cover the face and adds effective fly protection. Perfect for leaving your horse tied and cooling off while you tend to other things or for those hot day turnouts. Velcro strap adjusts and keeps this Cool Medics Fly Mask in place. Cool Medics Cooling Fly Mask with Ears has ear coverings for the horse with the back half in cooling fabric, and the front half in mesh for better air circulation.

In clinical trials, Cool Medics was found to be 20 to 25 degrees cooler than the surrounding air temperature.
